SCRIPT:  Welcome to the very first episode of this three-part series! In this story, Paula has recently fractured her leg, and her best friend comes to visit her at home after the accident… what she doesn’t know is that just a few days later, she too will end up with a broken leg! Karma, coincidence, fate — call it what you will — but one thing is certain: it will bring them even closer together.

Both girls will eventually spend time at home with matching pink casts, massaging each other’s toes, signing each other’s casts, chatting, laughing, and more. But that all comes later — in this first episode, we get to know Paula.She’s a young woman who fractured her leg recently during the summer, but she’s determined not to let that stop her from enjoying the beach. We see her getting into the car, then walking along the beach promenade on crutches, sitting down to rest and massage her leg, moving her toes, and talking about her cast, her crutches, and her recovery. She spends the entire video wearing a swimsuit and a single sandal on her healthy foot. Toward the end, she returns to the car, but exhausted from using crutches, she hops on one leg all the way into her house — where, in episode two, her friend will soon come to visit her.
