Welcome to Adri’s video series, a dancer who fractured her ankle. This series will consist of a total of nine videos. This one corresponds to Part 7.
In this video, Adri is sitting on a chair and lifts her injured foot onto the table. She talks about her injury and about how her days have been with the cast. She massages her toes and shows how swollen they are and how a gray bruise stands out on the top of her foot.
She also talks about how people look at her in the street when they see her wearing a cast. After that, she begins to sign and draw on the cast to give it a more friendly look. She even draws a smiley face on her big toe.
Then she jokes about being flexible and bites the toes of her casted foot several times. She also gently taps the cast without hurting herself to show how it sounds and what its texture is like. There are many close-up shots throughout the video.
