Welcome to Adri’s video series, a dancer who fractured her ankle. This series will consist of a total of ten videos. This one corresponds to Part 2.
In this video, she goes to a medical follow-up appointment. The medical cast she is wearing is removed, and she is made to wait for 3 hours with nothing on her foot while X-rays are taken to assess whether it is necessary to apply a full cast or not. She uses crutches, with both front and rear shots, and also stops to rest and talk about her foot. The foot is completely swollen and bruised due to the injury, and she also shows a video she has posted on her TikTok. In those videos, she puts weight on the foot, so she knows perfectly well that her injury has worsened. Her toenails are painted red. In the third part, she leaves the hospital with a full white cast as a result of putting weight on the foot and causing the fracture to shift.
