SCRIPT: Alicia is a young Italian who broke her leg while skiing. Stuck at home and bored, she decides to dress up in a stylish outfit with a heeled boot on her good foot to go out for a walk. She even heads to the bathroom to do her makeup—a real challenge with a leg in a cast.
After getting ready, she leaves her room and makes her way through long hallways and dining areas on crutches, with mostly front-facing shots capturing her movement. She settles onto a sofa and wiggles the toes of her casted foot, giving close-up views from several angles of her bright red pedicure and a toe ring.
Alicia then shares her thoughts about people who find casts appealing and talks about what daily life is like for her while wearing a cast and attracting curious looks in public.After the conversation, she heads to the kitchen to show how she cooks and moves around—no easy task with a cast.
