SCRIPT: Sofia's life changed in an instant. A terrible accident left her with both legs broken, and now she's living in two heavy, long leg casts that have taken away almost all control from the waist down. Every move takes real effort — dragging herself across furniture, transferring with just her arms, powering through with nothing but her core and upper-body strength.

The video opens close on her feet, camera angled up from the soles, as she lies back on the sofa with both casted legs propped up on a pillow. In her own words, she walks you through what happened, what the pain has been like, and what daily life looks like now with two casts and barely any mobility — how she handles chores, how she gets around, how she transfers herself.

From there, she transfers into her wheelchair and rolls into the kitchen for a bite to eat, legs up on a stool the whole time, with lingering close-ups on the casts. Then she heads outside completely on her own — no help, just her and the wheelchair — cruising through the quiet, leafy streets of her private neighborhood. She stretches her legs out now and then to help her circulation, chatting the whole way, completely candid and unscripted. After a long roll around the neighborhood, she heads home and wraps up her day.
