At the beginning, Sofia is lying on the couch next to her friend Giselle. She rests her casted foot on Giselle’s leg while they talk about her cast, the feeling of being immobilized, and daily life while wearing a cast. As they talk, Giselle touches the cast while Sofia wiggles her toes. There are close-up shots from the sole of her foot as well as from the angle of her toenails.
After relaxing together for a while, they get up and go to another room where Giselle helps Sofia change clothes before going out. She then places ankle bracelets on Sofia’s casted ankle, adds toe rings, and finally helps her put on socks. Putting on the socks becomes a whole adventure, as they try several pairs until Sofia finds one she likes and that fits properly. It is extremely difficult to get them on, but with Giselle’s help, Sofia finally manages to wear one, as she refuses to go out with her toes exposed.
After this, they use crutches around the house, head into the kitchen, and Giselle applies lipstick to Sofia before they leave.
