In this video, Gema gives us a real close-up of her fractured tibia and fibula. The video begins with Gema lying in her room, in visible discomfort due to her injury. She struggles to pull several socks over her cast—a task that seems almost torturous, but she manages to do it. Then, she starts hitting her cast with a book, which causes her some pain. As she taps the cast, you can clearly hear the loud, hollow sound it makes.
Later, Gema lifts her leg using a crutch—a challenging and painful effort since her entire leg is immobilized. Despite this, her flexibility shines through. While holding her leg up, she removes a sock, massages her toes, and puts on a new one.
The video also features Gema using crutches indoors, moving through the hallways and her room. She walks in a unique way, swinging her casted leg from the hip like a pendulum due to the pain from her fracture—an unusual but fascinating sight.
