Angled LLC high pain: sock and street crutching 3/3 by Leire

SCRIPT: Leire, after tearing her Achilles tendon, is forced to live with her leg completely in a cast at an extreme angle. From the start, you’ll see her struggle with the pain as she moves around on crutches, trying to adjust to her new reality. 

In this video, Leire starts off at home, lying barefoot on the couch and visibly in pain from her recent accident. She decides to put on a thick, high white sock over her cast—but it’s no easy task. The effort clearly causes her discomfort, and her leg pain is evident throughout.

After struggling to pull the sock over her cast, she finally manages and heads out of the house. She takes the elevator down and begins a long walk through the streets on crutches. During the walk, her pain is clearly noticeable, and she expresses it openly.

The video is filmed mostly from front and side angles, with some zoom shots taken from about 5–10 meters away. After a long stroll, she finally sits on a bench, clearly exhausted and in pain. She talks about her cast, removes the sock for a couple of minutes, wiggles her toes from her casted foot, and then puts the sock back on to begin another long walk home.
